Agent Jiang by ChazKemp Agent Jiang by ChazKemp
Please join us in welcoming Sargas Prime's newest agent all the way from China... Cai Jiang. She has danced upon the Affinity Bridge of Fengdu and battled Tick-Tock Tigers in Wuhan. She stole the Omega Engine from Fu Manchu himself, which earned her the nickname, "Ghost." I caution you to treat her well because you will not see her coming if you don't.

I did the main figure last year and as with Steampunk Sally, just didn't like the background. So I've made some tweaks and voila. The print will be on sale soon and please, let me know what you think!

This is Beautiful <3
I'm completely new to digital art (and deviantart for that matter). What application(s) did you use to make her?

Very nice. This image is gorgeous. I don't think there's enough Asian (or any other ethnicity) Steampunk around. Yours is a lovely addition.

Thank you kindly. I agree with you on the multi-cultural steampunk images. Someday, I'd love to do a lot more and have characters from all over the world. I know that there are people who have decided that unless it's European, it's not Steampunk but I say, the 1800s happened everywhere and since Steampunk is a made up genre anyway...

Some of the more recent Steampunk panels I've gone to at cons have been stressing the idea of broadening the pool, under the same logic: the 1800s happened everywhere. So it is changing, just frustratingly slow.

(And I haven't forgotten the commission request. I'm dying to order, but just have to get a few more things in order. Perhaps after the holidays if you're still open?)

I love your coloring! It looks almost like watercolor at first. And the background is so clean and pretty<3

Thank you very much - I'm very honored. :) It took me a very long time to get my art to this point and I'd absolutely love to make my style even better.

The tress, lantern, and flowers are amazing, as are the colors and overall aesthetics! Seriously awesome! :la:
